Pros

There aren't any anymore, they were merged with another company and all the parts that made it good were laid off.

Cons

Never did have a good financial model, depending on federal funding of school systems.

The co-workers and original top management were a great bunch of people to work with. One of the company core Values was 'Having Fun...'

Cons

Company management was turned over and the new management decided that the core value of Having Fun was apparently only for successful employees. New core value became 'Having NO fun whatsoever'...

Pros

Company was small and tenacious, supported the employees both in their jobs, resources needed to complete their tasks, and very generous with benefits and bonus system. Excellent top-down communications and at all levels of management, policies and procedures were very clearly defined and usage of Sharepoint made sharing of documents, procedures, and policies very open-door. Product offering was simplistic, as the company did not try to do more than they are capable or try to be all things to everyone. Trillion understood it's niche in K-12 eRate marketplace and did a great job supporting its clients and contracts. Customer satisfaction was very high and when mistakes were made accountability and integrity was high so problems were resolved and no fingers were pointed. It was easy to want to excel at your job and this was due to the pleasureable corporate culture, and a value system which had as one of its tenants to "Have Fun" and we did.

Cons

Company was very lean and lacked overlapping coverage in the field across the US. This placed many employees in a constant 7x24x365 environment without a known support system so it was hard to take vacation and time off and know that you were not putting other employees and your customers in a bind.
