Pros

Pros think it is cool that you work for Amazon as a delivery guy, but really you're not working for Amazon, you would be working for this company that is contracted out by Amazon. Your office is driving around in a rental van. The vans are good and sadly that is the only good piece of equipment you will use. Can be good exercise, especially when going up and down apartment stairs, which is a huge portion of the day. You get to listen to any radio station you want as loud as you want.

Cons

There are too many cons to list here, but I will attempt to list some. You drive with your own PERSONAL INSURANCE. Think about that. One accident could cost you lots of money and raise insurance rates long after an accident. They want you to pay for damage to the van also if it occurs The equipment they provide to you to make deliveries barely works. The GPS phones are total garbage. The battery runs out within four hours, there are no chargers provided, they want you to ruin your charger by plugging and unplugging the unit 175 times a day and the one minute between deliveries doesn't charge it. There are no GPS holders or mounts so you have to put it in a cup holder or play catch with it as it bounces around the dashboard and it is so dangerous. Oh! And it uses Bing maps. Not Google. Bing is the worst map provider because it is outdated and just plain doesn't use the best routing system so you spend a lot of time turning around on U-hyphen-turns. That's how the navigation voice says it. Not only do they want you to use your charger, they even want you to use your own phone to call when problems arise, and they do. A lot. They want you to text them tracking numbers of packages that weren't scanned into the system so they can add them to the route, which sometimes adds on hefty amounts of time to your day. These problems arise every 3 to 4 weeks because of the huge turnover at the Amazon warehouse because they are constantly training new people who make lots of mistakes. I've had to work 4 extra hours due to one horrible warehouse scanner-loader. And it sucks because whether you work 8 hours or 13 you still get paid one daily rate. The people that supposedly manage the company do not listen to anything you say until it creates a problem for them. It was nearly impossible to get a single person to answer the phone when you call and they do not return messages ever. Do not believe when they say you will make an hourly rate. Not true at all. You get a base pay, then if you did well and didn't need a rescue driver to take packages for you you get the full daily wage. Overtime is screwy and weird and probably not legally figured or totalled so I just don't know what this company is doing, but it smells fishy. They text you every single day before the next shift to remind you, in sometimes condescending ways, to not forget to work tomorrow. They act like their employing children. Then there is the dispatch crew and they also can help you, however help is usually delayed and they also have been completely disrespectful and rude if they decide they don't like you or you did them wrong. It is children herding children and it was painful to work in such an unprofessional environment. The manager is totally aloof and ambiguous and will never give you a real response but he is a smart and charming guy, I just dont understand why he couldn't be more proactive with his drivers. I saw him twice in the almost 3 months I wasted here and he was not helpful when approached with problems. I found this company to be wholly unprofessional and disrespectful and they were not honest and upfront since the beginning starting off with a job announcement that offered $15 per hour. It was not hourly and that was wrong of them to advertise so. I cannot express enough that the cons outweigh the pros working for this company. If you value yourself and your sanity then you will want to work elsewhere.

Pros

4 days on and 4 days and the freedom, nothing else. They are unprofessional Very rude They have very high turn over

Cons

Supervisors are very rude and the management is just a name, I was one of many drivers who had issues with there paychecks, the managers want you to record your hours.. Doesn't matter how long you work you won't get overtime anyway No connections between the management and the dispatches except if its regarding the package delivery, the drivers issues doesn't matter The managers always threatening the drivers to be fired they don't feel sorry if they send you with out a gas or anything you need to do the job.... They are the worst company I ever worked in You really don't know how much your paycheck going to be and how long it will take them to fix the paycheck issue
