Pros

AH-MAY-ZING administrative staff, from specific floor Clinical Leaders to Nurse Administrative Manager throughout the hospital. I've honestly never felt like I was more supported in a hospital system as I have in my time here.

Cons

Staffing ratios. Since new CNO started, it has been harder to make any adjustments or pick up "partial shifts". Ex: If I wanted to pick up an ADDITIONAL shift, but could only work 7-3 (or even 7-5), it was often declined because it was "difficult to cover the last few hours". Even if I had found another staff member to pick up the last few, it was often denied as they would rather have the entire 12 hr shift covered than make an adjustment. It, sometimes, seems like they would rather be WITHOUT a RN for 12 hours than work around an 8 hour shift.
