Pros

Excellent Training: I came into this company with no sales or management experience what so ever. I the past 15 months I have received constant training and coaching which has allowed me to develop skills I can utilize for the rest of my life. Positive Impact: Solar is an incredible industry because not only does our end output help the environment, but also saves each and every one of customers money. It is incredibly fulfilling to work in an industry that does so much good. In addition, from a management, seeing people grow and thrive is incredibly fulfilling. Compensation: We are paid very well. Growth: The rate at which you can grow professionally and personally at Trinity is incredible. I have moved from an entry level position to management over the course of 8 months. In addition, the nature of our job has helped me evolve into a better person than I was when I started here. Culture: From our contests, to the meetings to our leadership from Senior Management, this is an incredible place to work. As a contest winner, I was taken on all expenses paid trip to Mexico with a plus one last week.

Cons

The largest con is this is a challenging job. However, I doubt there are many easy jobs where you have the opportunity to make a great deal of money as well as for career advancement.

Pros

Great people, caring upper management, fun meetings, good coworkers, great work environment, uncapped commission potential, base salary, full health, dental, vision, variety of optional insurances, 401k with large company match, actually helping people save money, helping the planet.

Cons

Inter-department communication, slow company-wide decision making, bad apples have forced upper management to make decisions that feel like tight leash on entry level reps.

Pros

There used to be more positive to working here but under the new CEO they have taken everything away from their long standing employees.

Cons

One of the biggest issues is pay. Employees who have been here for years who know the job inside and out are often making the same as (or less than) brand new hires who are just coming in with little to no experience. It’s frustrating and honestly pretty discouraging when your time, effort, and knowledge don’t seem to be valued. It also feels like the teams doing the bulk of the day-to-day work and making sure everything runs smoothly aren’t compensated fairly for the workload they carry. Raises and improvements to benefits are limited, even for those who consistently go above and beyond. At the same time, there’s a clear difference in how departments are treated. Sales teams are rewarded with trips, events, and strong financial incentives, while internal teams, who play a huge role in actually driving success for this company, don’t see the same level of recognition or pay. It creates a pretty big disconnect. What makes it harder is that the company promotes a very positive, upbeat culture, but that doesn’t always match the reality employees experience day to day. Over time, this discourages a lot of employees from wanting to remain here.
