Pros
My fellow associates were great knowledgeable people to work with, and I was given responsibilities where I could make a positive contribution. This gave me a feeling of accomplishment and great satisfaction.
Cons
At my hiring interview I was told it was to train for a permanent position, and what the rate of pay would be. I was very disappointed after starting my internship to find out the actual pay was less than stated, and that they changed their minds about what positions needed to be filled. I needed the internship as a graduation requirement so I made the most of a bad situation, and made myself useful while learning everything I could about the workings of the plant.
