That version of the company is gone now, and it’s honestly depressing to see what’s happened to the place. I’ve seen some rough changes over the last year: we’re talking about management that treats the staff like they’re under surveillance with cameras everywhere, training that’s basically "figure it out yourself" on ancient, clunky software systems, and leadership that seems to have completely checked out while expecting us to pull miracles out of thin air during the tax season crunch. The inconsistency from the top is the worst part—one day everything is fine, and the next you’re being micromanaged by people who don’t even understand the workflows they’re demanding. Favoritism is everywhere, and if you aren't in the inner circle, your hard work just goes unnoticed while they move the goalposts again. I used to be proud to work there, but now I’d tell anyone looking for a job to save themselves the headache. The talent is leaving, the leadership has lost the plot, and the "culture" they talk about in meetings is just a hollow script. Don't waste your time.
