Pros

Ability to choose our most suitable shift

Cons

Both from the clients and agents. I do not know how to comment in a corporate style writing so I'll just write from my experience. More like a complain but what do I know, I'm just a part time worker. Let me start with the client first. Honestly I noticed there's some bias going on because I don't talk a lot or want to make friends with my (ex) colleagues. Yes I simply came to work, I did my job, but these people might think I was a stuck up. From the first day I can tell it's a toxic workplace but I remind myself I came for work, and just work. First day checked in, already the PICs talking thrash about everything. I can tell this is the type of managers of supervisors who will act nice in front of you but throw you under the bus the moment you are inconvenient to them. First day already chaotic, I were expected to manage my job independently after a simple brief, and when I tell them there's some issue, they blame me. Alright I take the blame, because I was newbie, and I'm not used to the environment, especially when working solo. But the longer I work, it became apparent they don't like me and find every opportunity to blame me. A said like this, I followed. Suddenly the other day B told me I did wrong (after following what A told me). I've been told I have communication problem. Well you guys kept me under the dark, even I was confused? Ask this wrong, ask that also wrong. And then instead of telling me directly, somehow need to blast to everyone what I did wrong. Dear Lord, I would snitch on everyone if I would have to, you know? I was empathetic. But now being backstabbed like this I ought to tell everyone, what your staff did. One of your workers break the rule, by letting customers pick up the gold bar without tokens at a gold bar challenge, just for them to 'cuba-cuba'. The other day I saw one of your staff slept on the job. On the other day one of the customers complained to me one of your staff (the manager or supervisor I think, I do not care! ) was arrogant. Also yes, I admit I did my task poorly when I was given this one job (not involving customers job) this one time. I thought I can do my task efficiently and finished early but the tool I was provided was less than adequate and I'm not used to this kind of work identical to clerical work. The vouchers not cut right and everything blah blah blah, yes yes, I admit I was wrong. However, I noticed some of the vouchers were already missing after my break (someone else besides me did this job too). And somehow I was blamed for losing the voucher??? I try to defend myself for this accusation but the pic said I was being defensive. "Kalau taknak kerja tak payah datang kerja," . Always if we stand up why do managers say this type of comment? There was another part-timer, but she was well liked by everyone, told me the management was terrible. They don't listen. When provided solutions won't listen. It feels like a thankless job. I told this part-timer I noticed the electrical wiring exposed on the floor the public waiting for people to trip over and fell. She said the management won't listen even being told many times. How is that management doesn't consider this a hazard???? But you know what, if they'll already treat you like cogs in the machine, it's not surprising they don't consider the safety of people. Heh. Now moving on to the agents. I'm not sure about their nature of work, but I can tell they prefer to listen from one side only. Bias. Maybe. Also I don't know about Troopers, is this a gig job, or a part time job? I'm confused, but why would I provide MC when I already showed you I am positive covid? Why provide MC when you are not paid for sick leave, or you don't get claim for your MC? I was grateful I no longer want to work with Troopers anymore. Don't know how the sick leave system works. 1 week after after my Covid isolation I was hospitalised due to sepsis, from infection and maybe due to stress of the work, but I thank God I no longer worked with Troopers. I don't know what soulless cold paper they will ask from me when I can't come to work due to being warded, despite not being paid. Not recommended working with Troopers or their clients. Apply with part time job directly with another company, so you know at least you are protected under the law if your employer abuse you.

Pros

I had a positive experience working at Troopers overall. The team is friendly, and the work environment is supportive, which made collaboration enjoyable. The 10 AM - 7 PM working hours provide a good balance, but at times, they felt a bit rigid depending on workload.

Cons

One downside was that the office sometimes had a clique-y feeling, which could make it harder to fully integrate as a new team member. That said, the leadership and colleagues were generally approachable, and the company provides good opportunities to contribute meaningfully to projects.
