Compare the number of reviews here to other firms and adjust your expectations. Talent aqusition solicits reviews from new hires and interns as part of their onboarding. I was asked to write a review less than one month after starting, before I had time to form a proper opinion.
Cons
I've worked for two other accounting firms and this was by far my worst experience. Everyone is overworked. Firm has a old school mentality where employees are expected to be glued to their computers for 6+ months of 'busy season'. They also use the figure it out yourself approach for any professional education or development. Partners have no problem throwing a 8am Saturday meeting on your calendar to discourage asking for help.
Worked with some very talented and young coworkers here who are raising children. It's impossible to work at this firm while simultaneously fulfilling the responsibilites of being a primary caregiver to a young child. Stop neglecting your children and look for employment elsewhere. Your children will thank you.
