Pros

An abundance of product knowledge regarding products/services, entry level sales position at best, ongoing sales training daily, role playing with focus on closing as it relates to the benefits of the products while learning the sale process. Weekly pay check, auto deposit

Cons

They micro manage to the point of affecting performance, not good for experienced salesperson, daily unnecessary meetings, hand held device used in tracking daily activity requiring constant attention/action. Very rigid system in terms of expectations of knocking 100 + doors daily. Commissions are tiered, unrealistic will only make base pay most weeks forced to work 56+ hours weekly, base pay $520 weekly. Favoritism regarding turf/territory/leave to the more senior sales people, your expected to work in the telecom during inclement weather, work hours your told 12 noon to 9 pm and 9am to 3 pm on Saturdays. They will actually make you work from 11am to 9pm and 9am to 4 or 5pm. Sales managers are only motivated to stay out based on the overrides from sales staff. Customer service is slow to call when sales are executed after call-in process results in loss of sales and very frustrating for the sales representatives.

Pros

- Very very easy to move up in the company. If you dedicate a couple years and show skill in sales you can move up to a sales manager position extremely fast. If you are willing to move the opportunity to move up is even significantly easier and faster. - Almost all of management started at the bottom and worked their way up, if possible they always hire from within. - Good money, get out what you put in. - Direct Management is great, local and even regional management is almost even fantastic, but any higher then that becomes out of touch and very frustrating to (albeit indirectly) work with.

Cons

- Inconsistent at times about expectations, at times asking for one thing then immediately needing the other. Can be frustrated to be pulled in so many directions, but not even remotely unmanageable. - Lot's of hours, especially in management. Prime time? (March-End of May) Say goodbye to your personal life! Mandatory 1/2 day Saturdays, definitely a grind but worth it. - Frustrating policies and illogical outlook on what success looks like.
