It's time to stop the number crunchers living in their perfect, predictable, financially-projected world who fail time and again and give the reins to those with vision and passion for their product. I was one of the lucky ones that worked there when the place was run by the enthusiasts, we were people in charge of putting out the product and finance was in charge of counting the money. And then the new regime took over. For a while the company lived off the momentum. But the gist was just not enough to sustain itself. Product creation was re-assigned to a finance-dominated planning function, and studio personnel were stripped of their individuality and creativity in a drive to economize.
