Pros

An incredible opportunity to lead the relaunch of VROOM, an award-winning platform, and collaborate with key stakeholders to secure significant business growth, including contracts with mid to large organizations and government agencies. Building and nurturing a talented, diverse product design team was a highlight, especially achieving a 0% churn rate despite challenging industry conditions. The organization supported innovative approaches, like implementing a modern Design System and Accessibility Principles, ensuring the user experience was intuitive and inclusive. Workshops and training initiatives allowed me to share expertise in Figma, front-end development, research, and product strategy, fostering growth within cross-functional teams. Leadership encouraged the use of data-driven insights and empathy in decision-making, which created a user-focused culture. Opportunities to integrate UX processes across business units, creating a cohesive and impactful design environment.

Cons

As with any fast-paced organization, tight deadlines and resource constraints required careful prioritization and adaptability. The remote working setup was both a blessing and a challenge, depending on the collaboration needs of specific projects.

Pros

The people are nice to work with. I can have big impact in the company with my job.

Cons

The management is very bad at planning and do not try to be good leaders. The new management this year have no strategy and do not take care of the people. After many people let go, the management add more workload but still no clear strategy or communication.
