Pros

Market Pay, Could be a winning company with changes in culture

Cons

Direct and immediate change in culture. Time was completely wasted, lack of human empathy and respect shown by interviewers, and the truth is that the company is bleeding market share, crashing their own prices, despite product quality increasing and retail locations increasing. Why? Because everything about this company is regulation. Which honestly I am not even mad at, provided that they would use that advantage to create meaningful and powerful brands, services, and products. Instead they use the advantage to sell boof to Florida retired custies on bogo. Theres room for everyone, but if thats your model, don't walk around with such a big ego. Eventually you do it to the wrong person and they decide to let you know.

Pros

Used to be a great place to work.

Cons

Having been with the company for over 5 years, I have watched the internal culture steadily decline. There is a deeply rooted culture of nepotism that dictates career advancement. If management perceives you as a threat to the status quo, your upward mobility is effectively blocked, regardless of how positive your performance reviews are. A prime example of this environment is the rapid promotion of favored individuals—such as administrative staff advancing to project manager and director roles within 18 months—while seasoned, highly qualified team members are left stagnant. Furthermore, management has zero regard for work-life balance and will openly admit to it. Leadership consistently makes major operational and applications decisions based on personal feelings rather than consulting the actual teams executing the work. Ironically, leadership is always surprised by the low collaboration scores on internal employee surveys, yet they continue to freeze out the rest of the organization. Unless you are identified as a favorite early on, do not expect career growth here. Option 2: Short, Sharp, and Impactful Title: No Room for Growth Unless You Are a Favorite After 5+ years with the company, I can confidently say the corporate culture is getting worse by the day. Nepotism is rampant. We routinely see administrative staff fast-tracked to project manager and director roles within a year and a half, while qualified, long-term employees are completely blocked from moving up if they are perceived as any kind of threat. Management openly dismisses work-life balance and operates in a silo. On the applications side, leadership makes critical decisions based on personal whims without ever consulting the team members affected. They are perpetually shocked by their low internal survey scores regarding collaboration, yet they refuse to change. Hard work and great performance reviews mean nothing here unless you are part of the chosen inner circle. Option 3: Unfiltered (Includes Specific Team/Name Mentions) Title: Rampant Nepotism and Toxic Management Silos I have spent over 5 years at this company, and the environment is deteriorating daily. Nepotism is the primary driver of career progression. Administrative staff are promoted to project managers and even director level within 18 months, while high-performing team members are locked out of upward mobility if management perceives them as a threat. Your performance reviews don't matter. Management openly admits they do not care about work-life balance. Their own words- your family comes first and if Trulieve does not come next in your priorities over everything then you are in the wrong place. This was a speech by the CIO after a massive layoff. Within the applications team, Directors like James E make major operational decisions based purely on ego and personal feelings rather than consulting the actual organization. Leadership is consistently blindsided by their low scores on collaboration surveys, yet they completely refuse to collaborate or listen. Unless you are favored early on, you will remain stagnant. We have ppl join our team all the time where the rest of the team members dont even have a chance to vent. Leadership adds and removes ppl without ever consulting the team.
