Pros
Office is nice, some people are nice
Cons
Morale is very low, Calling this fact out to your manager or HR is seen as being a bad culture fit and you'll probably get fired. Almost everyone I speak to is actively trying to leave. Personally I look forward to my last day here ☺️ Agree with recent comments about HR team, nothing to add to that. Salaries are SIGNIFICANTLY below market for almost every role. If you are working in Vancouver you are expected to be comfortable that you are making 40% less than colleagues in other locations. HR stand behind their nonsensical metrics saying 'we are on par with the market'. Looking at any job posting online says otherwise. I don't blame the low level HR people, they are enforcing garbage fed from the top. Management are paranoid and spineless. They are all fighting to keep their own jobs, I can't think of a single Director or VP in the company who genuinely has their employees best interests at heart and wants to enable them. There is no career development, you can progress but you'll get a 4.5% increase. Very obvious that executive leadership is there to trim the fat, increase margins and sell, they clearly have no passion or belief in the product, we're all just passengers in their exit strategy journey. The product and largest customers are the same as they were 10 years ago. Sure changes have been made to the product but the product that customers actually use has not changed. Since getting 'Unicorn Status' all of the cash has been spent on bloated middle management on huge salaries who delivered nothing, majority of these people are gone now and replaced by a new batch.
