Pros
The work is not too complicated or difficult. The people on the support team are great and the support managers are extremely supportive.
Cons
All departments treat the support team as the place to dump off all the work they don't want to do. Sales and Account Managers often do this, passing off work they are capable of doing, either out of laziness or lack of knowledge of the product. The company is also prone to hiring people of a certain race. The company also has trouble finding quality hires. The product itself is very buggy. The engineering team works off-hours, so bugs are never fixed within the same day. This leads to irate customers. The engineering team is overworked and understaffed; they routinely go through turnover. Never accept additional responsibilities unless the pay comes as a raise. Never accept any responsibility that involves working with Ken. He is prone to "adjusting" your bonus based on how he perceives you are performing with your additional responsibilities. My annual review for the role I was hired for, Technical Support, was postponed despite routinely getting great metrics with calls and tickets. In fact, when I quit 5 months later, I still had not received any review or pay raise. Ken instead has threatened to reduce my pay. Furthermore, Ken verbally abuses his employees by calling them stupid and swearing at them. I have a negative outlook for the company as more and more people leave.
