Pros
Very fun, cool environment. A lot of flexibility and freedom. Chance to learn as much as you want about the food service industry...hourly/tipped employees and floor managers are great jobs--the politics come as you climb the ladder.
Cons
Kind of a "good ol' boy" mentality--have to be one of the inner circle (not necessarily achieved by hard work and effort). Upper management/owners don't know about what's really going on in their specific locations. Not enough training and/or clear delineation of job responsibilities/what's expected of you.
