      Pros

      phD students are very committed n passionate (I worked in Starks lab) & happy to help you find your niche/path.pay is competitive bc tufts is on the higher end of pay for STEM studies.

      Cons

      Lots of coding & there’s no real path to learning it in the summer, phD students while wanting to help, don’t have the time to necessarily teach you. They’ll just write the code for you

      It's a learn-as-you-go job, so it's a bit difficult at the start, but easy enough to pick stuff up over time.

      Fast pace/ variety of learning opportunities. Techs very knowledgeable and generous with sharing/teaching

      Cons

      Upper/Senior management hard to connect with/support lacking for those on the floor. Poor communication between services
