Pros
I worked at 3 different schools in TPS, all low-income, and at every school the children were always the biggest pro to working for TPS. Loved every single one of them and know they deserve so much more than what they are getting at this school district.
Cons
TPS does not have the resources or funding to support its teachers. It's classroom sizes are busting at the seams and schools do not have what they need to give the kids what they deserve. I taught one year in a grade level with 60 children and literally 20 textbooks to divide between them all.
