Pros
They would hire you even if you don't have any prior work experience as long as you have the essential characteristics of a support worker. Turning Point Scotland actually invests in staff training. While there are cliques in Perth, it's not as terrible as other TPS branches. Managers in Perth are quite strict towards staff members, but have a good judgment in terms of designating hours for rotas; they get done in advance.
Cons
There is obvious inequality. We don't get fully stocked pantries or regular buffets like other TPS branches; the appeal for salary raise was also rejected so you could be working as a lead practitioner but earn as much as an entry-level support worker. Lots of time is needed for paperwork, but somehow, you'll need to find a way to get this done within support hours.
