Pros

Benefits were good and colleagues were great

Cons

Having layoffs and effectively outsourcing the department sucked. As well as all the ridiculous changes they made to claims effectively turning a “claims adjuster” position into a call center rep position. Being locked out of your laptop and not knowing what’s going on completely eroded my trust in them. There are Better ways to communicate layoffs.

Pay does not always align with the complexity of the work, especially when the role expands into training, reporting, cleanup, and process improvement.
