Pros
visionary founders, even better if you had the opportunity to work with Srini, Ganesh or Ravi. Early emphasis on sales, customer acquisition & incubating/acquiring amazing PR & HR long term focus young team, immense faith in developers. all first 10-20 hires were freshers led by a calm & experienced CTO in Ravi Kannan ability to retain employees
Cons
hardly any overlap/discussions with employees apart from their manager/immediate team members. (on the flip side - everyone knows what they're doing & don't butt into what others are doing) lost several early employees who did not get any stock options - but hey who new it would get get acquired for $200M+ bad canteen average to below average salaries for new employees
