Pros
Small local company with a tight-knit family atmosphere. Everyone is friendly and down to earth. Turnover is low for the retail industry.
Cons
Current management team is out of touch with employees. Since they are all "lifers" they know everything about the industry. Not "open" to new ideas or the constant reply of "they tried that already 30 years ago and it didnt work." Growth is non-existent. Be prepared to work without raises or the constant phrase "you're lucky to have a job." Cuts have been wide and deep.
