Pros

Free food and the benefits are pretty good.

Cons

Management at this company is not good. They do not value workers or their input. They will also keep you in the dark on decisions and the reasoning behind them. There isn't really a training protocol like there is at similar companies. Instead of focusing on doing things right, there is a focus on pushing product regardless of the quality. Because of this there are a lot of mistakes made, and nobody ever seems to get in trouble for making mistakes. There is one shift in particular which constantly makes mistakes on even the simplest procedures and management has remained silent about it even though everyone is aware of the issues on that shift. Don't join this company if you aim to move up the ladder. There is very little upward mobility and the favoritism is really bad here- you probably won't get that promotion if your supervisor likes someone else better, regardless of who's more qualified. Don't take a night shift position if you want to move to day shift eventually either, they hired externally for day shift positions rather than moving people from night shift who had expressed interest. This year they told us that raises for MAs were going to be performance based when they actually weren't because they didn't have room in the budget. They did have room in the budget to give huge bonuses to supervisors and other higher ranking employees though. Company is losing people like crazy.

Pros

Good compensation package. Free lunch and snacks.

Cons

Management are lacking the skills they need in a global company. Does not operate as a multinational company. Lack of vision and direction, extremely poor forward thinking and planning. Anyone outside of the Bay Area is marginalised.
