Pros

Occasional benefits, small 25% discount

Cons

When i worked here as an under 18 i was paid around £4.50 and hour. This was around 2018. Very high targets were set, usually over a grand a day with you being repremanded for not achieving these, having the constant fear of formal warnings if you didnt make target however many days in a row. Very forward and invasive methods of sales involving bugging customers and trying to 'overcome objections' within the 5 steps to make a sale if the customer just wasn't feeling the product.

Pros

As with any dead-end retail job , the only benefit was that I made some great friends!

Cons

.Was a real corporate-suck-up culture among store management. Their lives seemed to be the job .Strict sales-target meeting policy .If customers refunded a purchase, the price of the sale would come off your total sales for that period - as if you'd never sold it in the first place. This was a particularly harsh and unpopular policy amongst staff. There were times when a sales rep had met their monthly sales target, but then a customer refund took them back down below the target. A disgusting policy to say the least! .Zero financial incentive to meet targets, only product incentives like a free hoody or t-shirt. .Store was constantly empty, the footfall was always low making meeting sales targets difficult
