Good pay / benefits, esp. compared to the post-doc you just left, but not compared to what the programmers are getting.
Cons
"Data Analyst" is a misnomer. You are internal tech support for hundreds of poorly coded data pulls / ETL jobs. (There is no "analyst" component.) And you're clearly treated as a second class / disposable citizen in the company.
