Pros

The company has strong values and takes being a B Corp seriously. The four day week is a massive benefit.

Cons

The pace of change is quite fast, always a new process on the horizon

Pros

We supposedly get Fridays off to search for better jobs.

Cons

Bullying culture from director level, we’re expected to achieve aggressive profit margins on projects despite lack of internal resource and poor availability of external sub contractors. Company resourcing team are overworked and can’t support us properly despite their best efforts, they’re the most poorly managed out of all of us from what I can tell. Many of my colleagues have been signed off with stress and I know of at least 4 others who are likely to join them in the next month, me also. Management is full of people who spend all day on calls but actually do nothing but cause problems for others. Business loves to preach values but this is by far the most unethical consultancy that I have ever worked for based on the treatment of my colleagues. Presenteeism and attending pointless meetings are valued more than actual quality output for clients and they will continually hire young employees who are less secure of themselves in order to convince them that this toxicity is normal and expected in the workplace, it isn’t. If you’re looking to join my advice and that of my therapist is don’t, B Corp needs to investigate.
