Pros
The actual workers in the company are terrific and work really hard together. With how horrible we are treated by Senior Management, it's really caused us "lowly" workers to band together even more.
Cons
The new CEO and President is absolutely horrible. She has created a toxic work environment and her attitude is the worst I have ever seen. She laughs at concerns of the employees that actually do the work and calls them "selfish" and tells them to "go find a friend" when trying to address what to do about low morale. There is a really bad "buddy system" within the bank. It's not about how hard you work, but who you are friends with in order to advance. In addition, and I hate to say this, but unless you are from India (like most of senior leadership is), then you are looked down upon. It's a shame what has happened to a once great company. The recently implementation of RTO by the new CEO/President means that if you are working remotely, you now have zero opportunity to advance. Benefits and pay are below average for large banks. When this was asked of the CEO/President, she called the person asking the question "selfish". The company is moving rapidly to push as many jobs to India as possible by laying off high performing employees and replacing them with 20 different contractors that are incapable of doing anything but reading from a script. There is zero job security unless you're of a certain ethnicity and/or buddies that came from a certain consulting firm.
