Pros

The pros are very few, just like most US based companies they are able to offer bad health insurance to their employees. The people working below the senior project manager level are doing their best and are good teammates. That's about it.

Cons

There is no paid sick time off, you must use PTO for any reason you need to miss work. The policies running the organization are nebulous and change constantly. So what was ok last month will get you fired this month. The organization is pure nepotism at its worst, the managers actively mention that those that are promoted or hired are those that they already know whether from work or their personal life. The organizational managers attack the employees with ADA covered medical scenarios, irrespective of the limitation they require you to act/behave as though your medical reality is an illusion. Professionals at the beginning of their career are being corrupted by these destructive ideas and operating procedures. There is no future for this operation, until they remove the negligent managers currently at the top. This organization is the quintessential mockery of what a good workplace could be. Simply because it is managed by small minded bigots. The right phrases are said when others are listening but, as soon as an employee asks about something previously mentioned, it becomes a ridiculous backtracking exercise.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. We're sorry to hear that your experience as a team member has been so frustrating. While we don’t agree with every point raised, we respect your honesty and believe it's important to listen and learn from feedback. We want to be clear: U.S. Engineering is committed to fostering a workplace built on respect, inclusion, and integrity. That includes maintaining fair policies, ensuring ADA accommodation requests are handled appropriately, and promoting based on performance and potential—not personal relationships. If your experience has been different, we want to better understand why and how we can improve. We're also committed to transparency and consistency, but we recognize there are times when communication or execution falls short. When that happens, we want to hear about it so we can address it directly and make needed changes. Your voice matters, and your input helps us move in the right direction. If you're open to it, we encourage you to speak with your company’s HR partner or a trusted leader about your concerns, or use one of our anonymous feedback channels, like our engagement survey. We want to support all team members in having a positive experience here, and that starts with open, respectful dialogue. Thank you for continuing to be part of the team. We want U.S. Engineering to be a place where all team members feel valued and respected.
