      Pros

      They pay comparatively well, give you some opportunities to develop. Most people are young and if you're lucky and good enough you can get promotion quite fast. Depending on the post, but sometimes you have lots of free time.

      Cons

      Job itself may be dumb and dull. You cannot negotiate raises and promotions are granted annually. You hardly feel any influence on your benchmark.

      Good Learning opportunities, Tech savvy compared to other banking / fintech companies

      Cons

      Too much offshore, low cost resource strategies, Gap between functional & IT resources, CS merger favored many UBS employees and massive layoffs post UBS - CS merger. Hardly any bonus or pay increments.
