Pros
Management encourages and supports initiatives for process improvement. There is a lot of freedom for new ideas. The country-specific units of the global PMO transcend cultural differences and are able to focus well on process changes, training programs, and proposals for continuous improvement.
Cons
Communication facilities and collaboration tools could be improved. Face to face communication between PMO units is made difficult by strict expense limits.
