Pros
I was lucky enough to work with great professors that care a lot for their students. I was given the freedom to create my own syllabus for a few classes that I taught. I enjoy the opportunity to impact the way my students learned about the subject I am teaching. I remember being frustrated with TAs I had in the past so I made sure that when I became a TA I didn't make the same mistake as they did.
Cons
Many professor here are research oriented and they seem like they don't care too much about teaching students. Some of the stuff you lean here won't really matter in the real would unless you want to work in Academic setting. Some professors came be a little socially awkward and won't even say hi back when you pass them in the hall way. (might be a Engineering professor thing)
