      good benefits like health and dental, ease of access to campus resources

      Cons

      Terrible pay for the amount of research that is expected. Terrible bosses if you pick the wrong PI. The only way to get out in a reasonable amount of time is to overwork yourself.

      Great institution serving a diverse student population. Plenty of interesting research labs. Decent benefits.

      Cons

      Commuter school so traffic and parking can be terrible. Select your PI wisely, and ensure healthy work life balance.
