Pros
the people are really great
Cons
SPD is a nightmare you have to pay for parking they do various differentials so they don't have to pay out the extra in your PTO as part of your base pay scheduling is a long and arduous journey with so many cut off dates to remember have to fight tooth and nail to get a *slightly* higher raise each year hard work isn't recognized/ appreciated - and you have to prove you go above and beyond for raises rather than them understanding what you do day to day the place is falling apart with expanding ORs but not expanding SPD techs aren't appreciated even though they have to teach all the periop nurses to scrub, incentive pay isn't equal, and it is hard to move teams because they need nurses (that you just trained to scrub) on their team over techs
