Pros

Benefits of healthcare, dental and vision and Holiday.

Cons

Workplace violence and abuse is common place here. If you are brought in to bring "change" they will allow your colleagues to mistreat you, sabotage your projects and violate you without a word, even when you have documentation. Central HR and North/South HR will say they are there for you but they are not. They will brush your complaints under the rug while attaching anonymous complaints to you. Further, management is weak and you will hear "manage up" from everyone as this is the culture. They will expect you to work through lunch and way past 8 hours a day because you are salary. No department talks to the other and creates more work than you get paid for. Projects takes 5-20 years to complete due to incompetence and lack of adhesion between the schools and departments. Pay is well below the industry average.

Extremely innovative environment and great collaborations within the university and beyond

Cons

Can be super fast paced and highly intense environment, but that makes work equally fun and challenging
