1) world-class faculty, technical equipment and facilities 2) amazing weather and food of any taste 3) infinite activities, interests, study groups, initiatives 4) diversity and awesome culture 5) opportunities for work and impact at the society 6) probably in the best area of Los Angeles

1) maybe not the best place in the world at specific departments 2) some people might not like the city and/or its culture. Not like their home country.
