      Pros

      Small class sizes, lots of good colleagues. Considerable effort has been made to enhance opportunities for research, but see below regarding teaching loads. Teaching excellence is supported.

      Cons

      Heavy workload and heavy-handed management. Those on the non-academic side of the house have far too much power. Deans are the lowest level of management and their opinions are disregarded. Department heads are told to bring their faculty in line. Morale is low.

      Excellent teamwork; flexibility; consideration of work/life balance; focus on professional development, EDI, and Indigenizaiton; strong benefits package; interesting work.

      Cons

      Sometimes communication between team members and departments could be stronger.
