Pros
Most local colleagues in Hungary are friendly, competent, and a pleasure to work with. The company has survived multiple market cycles, giving some job continuity (so far).
Cons
Middle management, particularly PMs based in the UK, is often inexperienced, poorly coordinated, and lacks professional skills in general. The "UK prestige" rarely translates to better management or project outcomes. Leadership at the top is absolutely inflexible, slow to address structural or operational issues, often allowing recurring problems to persist. Compensation for services is high relative to market standards, yet quality delivery does not always justify the premium. The company has a long history of sudden downsizing, drastically affecting employee morale and job security. It has potential, but is hindered by repeated mismanagement and overpriced offerings. If one values stability and competent leadership, exercise caution.
