Pros
If you are Asian you will thrive in this business. Minority of staff are possibly the nicest people I have ever worked with and will continue to be friends with outside of work.
Cons
A lot of fraud, discrimination and serious allegations made against staff that get swept under the rug to keep UoW and CCCU away. Management is shocking they don’t show up or just go wondering around and when you try to contact them they never answer yet you go to the toilet and are then shouted at for leaving your desk. Promote “diversity and inclusion” yet the mistreatment of staff and getting rid of non- Asian workers seems to say otherwise. Staff sleeping with management to keep their jobs. Unrealistic expectations of your work expecting you to drop everything and work way past finish times for “TOIL” yet there never seems to be a time you can take off. Not a single person has a clue what they are doing it is the blind leading the blind. HR is forever messing up pay and you either don’t get paid or paid weeks later than is agreed in your contract. They are also extremely unprofessional and do not take any complaints into account. Staff lie about their qualifications and are very clearly not fit for their role yet this is swept under the rug too. One specific person who seems to have final say on everything over CEO and Provost who is extremely rude and thinks he is entitled so unless you figure out how to be on his good side you have no chance of staying in the company. Constantly micromanaged too with all the cameras around the building. Extremely toxic work environment
