Pros

Modern offices - nice working environment (structure wise, not culture) Young workforce- so afterwork social stuff is good.

Cons

Wow, I have worked at a few companies over the years but JC this one is toxic. I have been here almost a year and I am looking for the fastest way out. I would even take a pay cut to get away from this place. The HR section has a particularly nasty streak and seems to have rotating door of staff (not a good sign in any company). The culture is very frosty been those who have been here since the start of the company (3-4 years ago) and newer people like me. Don’t expect inclusion or diversity here, its non-existent. Flexibility - only on the employers terms. The CEO is even leaving - tells you a lot in a company that is supposed to be on the cutting edge and destined for greatness. My advice - and this is a very genuine warning - give this company a very wide berth unless you are a very valuable engineer, and even in that instance you are probably better off working at a larger more established company (which is where the UKBIC CEO is heading)

Pros

I can't think of one good thing

Cons

In short, avoid this company at all costs. Bullying and threatening behaviour is dealt with by informal conversation and without speaking to any members concerned. Members of management single out members of their own team as important and others as unimportant in front of the team and MD which is extremely unprofessional. Man Eng staffing decisions are made by a literal coin flip rather than putting any effort or thought into it. The same department offer no support or desire to do the bare minimum of their jobs. L&D team is more like a friends and family development and delivers nothing of meaning. HR do not want to do anything and will not acknowledge any grievance or issue as it is too much work for them (that's when they are actually on site). Instead directors are told to pressure people into dropping concerns rather than actually address then. On top of all of this, you are sold a promise of progression and prospects which either do not exist or are blocked at every step along the way. Only certain demographics are employed in engineering roles and it is borderline discriminatory Overall this company is getting worse and not better and no concerns raised on here or in employee surveys have ever been addressed and never will unless something changes
