Pros

- Decent pay and benefits, although the sales incentives are nothing exciting. - Core hours, allowing a somewhat flexible schedule. - Great coworkers and a strong sense of camaraderie. - If you get good team leaders and managers and manage to hold onto them, it can be a great place to work, if not...

Cons

- Micromanagement - the worst I have ever seen. It's as though they're trying to justify the need for their positions, and it actually hinders our success. - Multiple sweeping changes in structure and procedures every year. It doesn't matter if we tried it before and it didn't work, and we will do a complete 180 degree turnaround within nine months. - Even with all the changes and attempts at improvement, the bureaucracy is consistent. - It does no good to be truthful when asked for input from managers. They only hear what they want to hear. You play their game the way the want you to, or you fear for your job.

Pros

Strong brand reputation and credibility in the marketplace. Excellent opportunity to gain experience in sales, compliance, testing, certification, and regulatory industries. Friendly, knowledgeable, and collaborative colleagues who are willing to help each other succeed. Good work-life balance compared to many sales organizations. Stable business with diverse industries and customers. Professional development opportunities and exposure to complex customer challenges.

Cons

Typical large-company bureaucracy can slow decision-making and execution. Internal processes and approvals may require patience and persistence. Organizational complexity can sometimes create challenges when navigating cross-functional initiatives. Career progression may occasionally depend on understanding and adapting to corporate dynamics.
