Pros

Nothing this place will suck you dry

Cons

Toxic culture masked by fake positivity If you value your mental health, time, or career growth, look elsewhere. This company will grind you into the ground with ZERO work-life balance. You’ll be berated by loan officers who think tantrums and belittling are the key to success, only to have them run to management whenever they don’t get their way. Instead of support, expect management to turn a blind eye or side with the complainers. Joel is a fake. Beware of the Casas they are bloodsucking vampires. The training is a joke, if it can even be called that. It’s minimal, and far from equipping you for the chaos you’ll face. The workplace is disturbingly insular—marriages, nepotism, and cliques run rampant, creating a deeply unprofessional environment. They shove fake positivity down your throat like some kind of cult, but the truth is, no one wants to be there. People are just biding their time until they can escape. To make it worse, management is inexperienced, unqualified, and incompetent. Many lack even a basic understanding of mortgages, which is baffling given their roles. Their leadership style is disorganized at best, nonexistent at worst. When you approach them with questions, you’re met with blank stares or outright ignorance. Leadership here is trash, plain and simple. It’s no surprise so many employees have quit.

Pros

zero pros. be thankful you do not work there. all the negative reviews on the company are true!!! RUN!!

Cons

everything you read on reddit is true about the company and the CEO. the CEO and senior management use the "sink or swim" mentality because they themselves don't know to properly manage people. there is also zero HR and the only time HR seems to exist is when they want to fire someone for no reason because they'd rather have high turnover than attempt to run like a true business. the CEO also uses their brother to do all their dirty work. avoid that man like the plague because he will pretend to be nice to you then have you fired in a blink of an eye. this company also uses your salary against you. they expect you to work outside of normal working hours and if you try to have a life outside of work, they remind you that you're paid X amount so they're allowed to treat you however they want. UMortgage is the definition of a toxic work environment.
