Pros

With an unorganized mess, there is plenty of opportunity to move up within the organization, but without training, support, or proper expectations for your individual success. Team members are set up for failure from the beginning.

Cons

UMortgage is a classic example of an organizational mess. Individuals are constantly promoted with a direct lack of experience in the role through incessant restructuring, leading the organization to be run wild by Sales people looking to leave support team members high and dry. The place is run like a cult - chanting the core values as a guiding light, but Anthony Casa and his groupies have little to no regard for the overall wellness of their team members. If you can get past the thinly veiled 'culture of success,' you're likely to get knocked out by one of the many layoffs that seem to happen every other month. If you're seriously considering working here, do your research. There's plenty of information online of others' experiences working here, Anthony's past, and the overall business outlook of the company (PSA, it's not good). Executives, top-performing team members, and high-producing loan officers have all started to jump this sinking ship. Operations team members are treated among the worst, only to be seen as indispensable robots overworked and undervalued.

Pros

zero pros. be thankful you do not work there. all the negative reviews on the company are true!!! RUN!!

Cons

everything you read on reddit is true about the company and the CEO. the CEO and senior management use the "sink or swim" mentality because they themselves don't know to properly manage people. there is also zero HR and the only time HR seems to exist is when they want to fire someone for no reason because they'd rather have high turnover than attempt to run like a true business. the CEO also uses their brother to do all their dirty work. avoid that man like the plague because he will pretend to be nice to you then have you fired in a blink of an eye. this company also uses your salary against you. they expect you to work outside of normal working hours and if you try to have a life outside of work, they remind you that you're paid X amount so they're allowed to treat you however they want. UMortgage is the definition of a toxic work environment.
