Terrible Culture - Anonymous employee UNCLE Credit Union Employee Review

The saying "it starts at the top" rings true when it comes to this company. The CEO frequently threatens his subordinates to improve production, expenses or revenue. His subordinates then slam their subordinates, which creates a vicious cycle and a very unhealthy, paranoid culture. Managers then become extremely frantic to satisfy the CEO, and will go as far as to terminate employees as scapegoats. For self-preservation managers become cowards and protect themselves, hiding behind closed doors as their staff gets reprimanded or eliminated. They rarely defend their staff members. Do not get fooled by their "community first" pretense. Charity should start at home, meaning their employees, who are the last priority. The CEO portrays a friendly persona that is very different from reality. He is a Jekyll & Hyde. He demeans and slanders his subordinates behind their back, without allowing them to be present to defend themselves. On numerous occasions I've experienced this myself with good, hardworking, honest people.
