Pros

Pay is OK. Ability to work fully remote. Lots of respect among the teams.

Cons

Work-life balance is terrible, even though they advertise it as one of their perks. The only part of the work-life balance that is true would be the full remote work. This is due to responsibility inflation and a continual consolidation of workforce size with no equitable process efficiency improvements. Employee turnover is constant so you'll be covering for people until they find a replacement perpetually if you're good at your job. One metric in our department that played a role in yearly pay increases was unattainable, effectively being a wage suppression tactic. The lowest ranking in the metric wasn't achieved by anyone on our team. The recruiter lied about the 401k match. Only people that really sacrifice their lives for the job get promoted. This one guy had a pair of daughters and I felt for them because of the job demand. If he was spending time with them he was exhausted. Unless you're truly killing it and giving up your life for the job, your pay will fall behind inflation year after year and your paychecks will have less buying power effectively making you poorer the longer your tenure.

Pros

Some good people work here

Cons

It Management team has been together for years and resists any change. 100% top down. Personal initiative is not overly welcome. Too many of the less senior managers know nothing practical.
