Pros

Commercial projects that are often seen to completion. Somewhat ambitious design standards. International team atmosphere. Many opportunities for learning and taking on new responsibilities.

Cons

Management is inconsistent, non-systematic, inexperienced, and exploitative. "Command and control" style with seemingly rigid structure, though structure is often undermined by management themselves. Office morale could be described as "disillusioned" at best, and "powerless and oppressed" at worst, with many unhappy and burnt out employees who seem constantly on the verge of quitting. Pay is very low. Expect to be yelled at or requested to perform unreasonable tasks. Prepare for constant, marginally compensated overtime hours.

Pros

Great location, atmosphere, design work, work hours, etc.

Cons

It is not like boutique studios as you may expect. It can be very similar to any corporate offices you all hate to go (don't know why...), but truth is it is not like small studio, so don't expect that if you were all about that when applying. By the way, I am not against corporate style. It is just different.
