      Pros

      Very positive public perception of Children's, proud to be affiliated with the organization.

      Cons

      Very little room to advance in my area, lots of "silo" mentality. Parking was always an issue. My department exhibited very little flexibility in terms of scheduling, and required "on call" night time and weekend hours in addition to a full 40 hour week for no extra compensation.

      No pros. It was a horrible place to work

      Cons

      If you were night shift, you had to work every holiday. The nurses were so lazy and never helped us. We ran around taking care of patients with no help. Changing them, cleaning up horrible messes, taking them to the bathroom and doing vitals with no help. Nurses would sit there eating while on Facebook, while we did all the work. Some would even be sleeping!
