Pros
The work is rewarding and you earn overtime being on call. There is a small group of co-workers who are genuinely nice to work with and will help. You get to work independently. I work there and pretty much am left alone to do my job with little trouble.
Cons
The Lab Management in Tissue Typing is very unprofessional. Favorites are played and there is numerous experiences of a micro management style. Many staff have left due to the managing of the lab. The raises are minimal and pretty much set in stone. The lead staff can ask you to do tasks that were assigned to them and give little guidance.
