Pros
Great schedule, no overtime or weekends required. I received extensive training to be able to do my job correctly. Friendly environment - lots of celebrations. Upper level management meet with employees frequently to keep them abreast of what's going on in the company beyond their everyday scope. If you're interested in another department they'll give you the opportunity to sit with someone in that department to gain more exposure. The former President committed himself to learning everyone's name and did it successfully. It was a great place to land after my layoff.
Cons
The hourly wage isn't great. There is an opportunity to earn an annual increase, however, it won't be much. To be honest, most of the time compensation will be given to you not monetarily, but in food and celebrations. You can absolutely tell the difference between management and employee by looking in the parking lot. You will also not find any minorities and only one woman in upper level management.
