Pros
Excellent pay, uncapped commission, great health benefits. You really feel like you're a part of a team with the other consultants. You learn something new every day and the team you work with is always helpful. Management tries to offer as much support as they can.
Cons
The company micromanages you 24/7. They never mention the cold calling in the interviews or the training but are relentless with it once you're on the sales floor. You do multiple jobs as one person and no matter what you do it's never good enough. They don't realize as a consultant that not every interaction is a sales opportunity. Upper management has a poor understanding of what the sales floor is really like and they refuse to acknowledge it. They're focused way too much on "numbers" and not enough on treating employees or customers well to retain them. Zero work/life balance. And the god awful mandatory huddles (even on your days off) that should really be an email that are almost always a complete waste of time with about 15 minutes of useful information.
