Pros

Employer paid medical care. Most of the actual worker bees seem to be decent people.

Cons

Not forthcoming about actual status of stability of organization to employees. Stingy with raises, promotions, and no bonuses. Too many VPs of everything, creates bottleneck for communication, unnecessary layers of management. Upper management not in tune with what their team members actually do, nor do they want to be. Too much hiring of people who are not actually qualified to perform positions.

Pros

Respect between colleagues and bosses

Cons

The pay is not very competitive, but it is only a student research assistant position and is more about the experience
