Challenges with department culture/harassment - Assistant Teaching Professor (12 Month) UVIC Employee Review

My home department had serious harassment and discrimination issues. I pursued complaints processes through EQHR and, ultimately, a human rights complaint, but my sense was that there was a high level of tolerance for tenured faculty who bullied and sexually harassed people. A number of us left; all of the folks whose behaviour was reported are still there.
